Is the data on this page real?
No — everything in the product windows here is clearly labelled demo / sample data. Inside the app, live and delayed data is labelled too, and sample data is never presented as real market information.
How is this different from TradingView, ChatGPT or Bloomberg?
TradingView charts; BuildYourPocket reasons. ChatGPT is a general model with no memory of your book; Umro reasons over your actual portfolio with cited evidence and calibrated confidence. Bloomberg is a data terminal for institutions; this is an institutional research process, priced for individuals, that never sells or auto-trades your data.
Where does my data live?
On your device. Optional cross-device sync is end-to-end encrypted — we store ciphertext only and cannot read your portfolio, journal or broker keys.
How do backtests avoid over-fitting?
Every strategy runs a statistical gauntlet — walk-forward, regime splits, and multiple-testing controls (DSR & PBO) — and results are shown honestly, with their limitations.
