No. Every workflow is draft-only. Nothing auto-executes real-money orders. You make every decision, and where you choose to act you do it yourself through your own broker.
Is Captain Umro financial advice?
No. Captain Umro is an AI research copilot. Its output is for analysis only, may be wrong, and must be independently verified. BuildYourPocket is not a broker-dealer or investment adviser and does not provide personalized financial advice.
Where does my data live?
On your device. Your portfolio, journal and broker keys are stored locally. Optional cross-device sync is end-to-end encrypted — our servers store ciphertext only and cannot read your data.
What do I get for free?
Right now, during our launch, every account gets complimentary Elite access — the full platform, free, with no card required. When the launch ends, the standing free tier still includes charts and the full indicator library, paper trading with a journal, portfolio tracking, market data with your own API keys, alerts (20/month) and CSV export of your own data.

How much does it cost?
During our launch it's free — every account gets complimentary Elite access, no card. When paid plans open later, Free stays $0 and Premium is $19/mo, Pro $49/mo and Elite $129/mo (annual billing gives about two months free, billed up front, handled by Stripe). Complimentary access is not a purchased subscription and never converts to a paid plan without your explicit approval.
How do backtests avoid over-fitting?
Every strategy runs a statistical gauntlet — walk-forward, regime splits and multiple-testing controls — and results are shown honestly, with their limitations. Backtests are hypothetical and never guarantee future results.
How do I cancel or get a refund?

Is my broker connected for real trades?
